Hirose's DF50 Series features 1mm Pitch Wire to Board (W2B)
Positive Lock Connectors
that are designed for durable performance in industrial
applications requiring more strength
and reliability. The metal lock provides a positive tactile click
ensuring the connector is fully
engaged for a complete electrical and mechanical connection. The
lock is centered on the
housing to avoid uneven locking and cable entanglement, which can
occur with side locks.
The DF50 housings are constructed with thicker and more robust
walls to prevent cracking.
The long insertion depth and blade contacts prevent damage against
wrenching forces.
High contact reliability is achieved with gold plating and a long
effective mating length.
Contacts are securely held in place even when high forces are
applied to the cable through
a robust and reliable lance structure. Hirose's DF50 Series 1mm
Pitch Wire to Board (W2B)
Positive Lock Connectors has been expanded to include a right angle
SMT version. The
wire to board header is resistant to wrenching forces, resulting in
a more durable structure.
